JVM Castings has invested more than £1 million in its Tamworth site and will create 14 jobs.
The aluminium pressure die-casting maker has installed additional machinery and invested in sustainable processes at its facility on the Lichfield Road Industrial Estate, as part of its plans to double the size of its site by 2020.
JVM has taken on 10 additional staff and two apprentices across its engineering, management and machining departments. Two more people will be joining in the coming months.
Operations director Ken Parker said: “Our growth plans have been driven by market demands, both through new and existing business, as well as a stronger focus on meeting our company’s ‘green’ agenda.
“While most of our work is in the automotive sector, we’ve been expanding into new markets such as construction, and we’re increasingly finding that offering full and partial assembly has been a key driver in our growth.”
JVM also has a site in Worcester. Its clients include Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley, BMW, Abacus Lighting and Ford.
