WIKA, a measurement technology manufacturer founded in 1946, has expanded its footprint in North Africa with a new subsidiary in Casablanca, Morocco.
Since 11 December, the company has been supporting its existing customers across the Maghreb region (part of North Africa which borders the Mediterranean Sea) from this location, while also driving its sales activities. This step is part of WIKA’s strategy to operate with agility worldwide through local facilities.
By being closer to customers and partners, the company aims to process orders even more efficiently and deliver the highest level of service. Marcel Frei, WIKA’s senior vice president of South Europe, said: “The opening of the subsidiary in Morocco marks an important milestone in our regional growth strategy.”
He concluded: “Our local presence enables us to offer customers even more flexible, personalised support and to strengthen collaboration with regional partners. All of this increases WIKA’s visibility in North Africa – and will help us to unlock new markets.”
