Kostel UK back in the black

The Rotherham-based UK subsidiary of German manufacturer Kostal (
www.kostal.com) is back in the black. Part of a family-owned group that was founded in 1912 in Lüdenscheid, Kostal UK reported pre-tax profits of £6.1 million for the year to 31 December — “a major improvement” on the £7.4 million pre-tax loss the company made in 2014. It also reported a turnover of £100.4 million, up from £99 million in 2014.
The group’s main activities include the development and manufacture of advanced electronic and electro-mechanical products. Its customers include many well-known industrial companies, including leading automotive manufacturers and their suppliers.
