A Dudley-based manufacturer has moved to larger premises and bought new machinery to increase its productivity with the support of a £250,000 financial package from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.
DGS Supplies Ltd (
www.dgssupplies.co.uk) manufactures and distributes road plus health-and-safety signage for construction companies across the country (it also supplies and embroiders work-wear).
The firm has experienced increased demand for its products, in part due to continued infrastructure investment seen
nation-wide, so it needed more space to keep up with orders.
It looked for larger sites to relocate to and found a 10,000ft
2 site on Thornley Street, which is double the size of its previous unit.
Following the expansion, its annual turnover is set to increase by over 30% (from £1.5 million), and two new members of staff have been taken on.
