Focusing on turning and digitalisation Halesowen-based Sandvik Coromant (www.sandvik.coromant.com) (Hall 5, Stand B18) will be presenting solutions
for more-efficient manufacturing processes. The future of machining and production is to take centre stage on the company’s stand, where new digital solutions that allow the connection of processes will be presented.

Among this year’s highlights is the recently launched PrimeTurning method and its corresponding CoroTurn Prime turning tools. This solution for turning in all directions is designed to offer improved machining flexibility, productivity and tool life.

Also ‘in the spotlight’ will be further developments of the CoroPlus solutions made ready for Industry 4.0. CoroPlus
allows for the linking of different process steps, as well as operations planning, process planning, machining and extended production analysis.

Thanks to co-operation with numerous machine tool manufacturers, the company’s tooling will be shown not only on its own stand, but also in many other places around the show.
