Two leading metrology companies have concluded a formal partnership designed to help customers improve their production processes.

The deal will see all bespoke jigs and fixtures for OGP UK (www.ogpuk.com) (part of the Carfulan Group) supplied by Verus Metrology Partners; it will also see OGP UK supply V-FIX — Verus’s modular metrology fixture product — for non-bespoke fixturing solutions.

Verus says that since its inception in 2008, the company’s relationship with OGP UK has been critical to its success in establishing a global customer base.

From its headquarters in Sligo (Ireland) and another laboratory in Nottingham, Verus designs and manufactures metrology fixtures and undertakes sub-contract measurement for clients in medical-device manufacture, consumer goods industries, aerospace and automotive.

The company owns and operates 13 OGP SmartScope machines from the CNC and ZIP ranges, using them to provide full metrology fixture and programme packages and helping customers to accelerate their new product introductions.
