Statiflo expands into Australia and New Zealand

Macclesfield-based Statiflo International Ltd, a world leader in the design of static mixers and other process equipment, is expanding in Australia and New Zealand after recruiting business partners to spearhead its growth in new markets.

The company (www.statiflo.com) has added Australian business Piping and Automation Systems and New Zealand-based Asmuss Plastic Systems to its growing network.

Statiflo, which also has subsidiaries in the USA and Germany, has traditionally supplied the water treatment industry in Australasia but has expanded into the food and bever-age and pulp and paper sectors through its new partnerships.

General sales manager Paul Buck said: “Australia and New Zealand are markets that have great potential for us.

“The ease of doing business there with no language barriers, their strong economic growth and their large-scale investment in the water infrastructure mean that they are attractive territories where we can drive further overseas expansion.”
