Suffolk-based Master Fluid Solutions has appointed Mark Powell as technology manager to underpin its increasing growth opportunities in Europe (

He holds a degree in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry and joins Master Fluid Solutions after various roles in the pharmaceutical, engineering and food ingredient industries.
Since 1990, dedicated development of metal-working fluids for the European market, as well as regional sales and
technical support, has been provided by Master Fluid Solutions’ European headquarters in Needham Market.
It remains the centre of excellence for product development, and investment in its laboratory facilities is on-going to provide more capacity for R&D.
The facility also provides technical support for the company’s growing network of distributors in Europe; Mr Powell will now manage the European laboratory and related technical functions.
