TRIM MicroSol 456 — the latest addition to the range of semi-synthetic micro emulsion coolants from Suffolk-based Master Fluid Solutions — has been specifically introduced to meet the needs of European manufacturers that focus on the high-volume production of cast iron and ferrous parts, as well as some aluminium alloy and non-ferrous machining (www.masterfluidsolutions.com
It extends the scope of TRIM MicroSol to provide a cost-effective solution for those who do not require the multi-purpose qualities of other products in this range.
An important benefit of this new addition is that it is low-foaming, even in soft-water areas. It is therefore ‘ideal for use in demanding applications’ such as grinding, high-pressure and high-volume machining, milling, slab milling and turning.
It also offers high mechanical lubricity and helps to optimise production costs through higher cutting quality, longer tool life and long sump life.
Moreover, TRIM MicroSol 456 is free from boron, formaldehyde donors and all aggressive biocides, providing full compliance with the strictest health-and-safety guidelines.
This product has also been formulated to provide a high level of corrosion inhibition on cast iron, while eliminating ‘hot chip’ and ‘clinkering’ problems.
It also helps to keep machines clean by leaving a soft fluid film for easy cleaning and reduced maintenance. The manufacturer also says no special disposal or recycling is required for this product.
