Mini UK agrees partnership with EVECOxfordshire-based Mini UK has agreed an official partnership with the Electric Vehicle Experience Centre (EVEC) in Milton Keynes (www.evexperiencecentre.co.uk).

As a result, two Mini Countryman Plug-In Hybrid vehicles have joined the ‘Experience’ fleet, so visitors can explore them — or book a test-drive. The Mini Electric — due to be launched in the UK next March — will also join the EVEC fleet.

Mini UK director David George (www.mini.co.uk) said: “Mini fully supports what the Electric Vehicle Experience Centre stands for — to inform and transform public opinion about flexibility, whether it is for the daily commute or a big weekend adventure — so it is a perfect addition to the EVEC fleet.”

EVEC manager Ted Foster said: “I am really excited for what our new Mini partnership will do for the EVEC and for the future adoption of electric vehicles.”
