Warwickshire-based Aeristech, which has created the worlds’s fast-accelerating and most power-dense electric motor, has moved into a brand-new facility in Leamington Spa to meet rising demand for its products.
The new 11,000ft
2 premises were officially opened by the Leamington Spa mayor Bill Gifford and County Council leader Izzi Seccombe in front of around 100 guests.

"It will allow us to explore new applications for our unique technology, while the production facility will enable us to deliver 30,000 centrifugal compressors a year — with the potential of increasing that to 200,000 units.”
Simon Reader — CEO of Mahle Powertrain, a long-term collaborative partner of Aeristech — switched on the latest motor to mark the move to the new premises.
He said: “This 20kW motor operates at speeds above 110,000rev/min and will be a game-changer in the creation of a greener environment.”
