The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) (
www.epma.com) has announced that it is closing its office in Shrewsbury on 30 April and moving its administrative operation to Chantilly (France) to improve overall efficiency and reduce costs.
The French office will then become the main administrative office, but the EPMA headquarters will remain in Brussels. The UK members of staff were given the option to move to France, and some will continue to work from home.
The association serves all types of member organisations, from component metal powder and equipment producers to end users, research centres and universities.
