Safety Engineering Products Ltd has taken a 10-year lease on a 13,223ft
2 unit on the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in Rotherham.
The company plans to increase production after successfully completing projects for Battersea Power Station and Canary Wharf.
Managing director Mark Richardson said: “The new unit will enable us to sustain the growth of business that we have seen in the past 18 months.”
The existing occupiers of the AMP include Boeing, Rolls-Royce, McLaren Automotive and the UK Atomic Energy Authority.
Two thousand people now work on the AMP, four-times the number who worked at the Orgreave Colliery & Coking Works that occupied the site over 30 years ago (
