New redesigned Bunting-eMagnets Web site launchedAn extensive range of magnets and magnetic products can now be found on the new Bunting-eMagnets e-commerce Web site www.e-magnetsuk.com).

The totally redesigned site makes it easier and quicker for customers to locate and purchase a wide selection of magnetic-related products from neodymium magnets to magnetic catches and workholding magnets.

Bunting is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of magnets, magnetic assemblies, and magnetisers for a wide range of processing and manufacturing sectors.

Its eMagnets division was the UK’s first online magnet company, with the original Web site launched in 2004 — the new Web site maintains the original identity while applying the latest e-commerce website design technology.

Simon Ayling, Bunting’s European managing director, said: “The way people purchase online is continuously evolving. We identified that our new e-commerce site needed to reflect the way people purchase online and the ever-increasing number of visitors viewing our product information using mobile and tablet devices.”

The Web site provides online access to purchase standard magnets and magnetic products in small and large quantities. Bespoke designs are referred to the specialist magnet product design team at Bunting’s Berkhamsted manufacturing facility.

Mr Ayling continued: “Our online sales continue to grow annually and form a key part of our overall turnover. By improving the functionality of the site, reflecting the changing viewing and purchasing practices of our customers, we anticipate further continued growth in sales.”

The Web site features dedicated zones for all known permanent magnets including neodymium, samarium cobalt, ferrite and alnico. For cabinet makers, there is a section for the popular range of magnetic catches, as used in kitchens, bathrooms and general cabinets, featuring a wide selection of brass, gun-metal, chrome, and plastic designs. Also available are pot magnets, workholding magnets, magnetic separators and magnetic sweepers.

There is a new and secure ‘My Account’ section making it quicker and easier for customers to reorder and access their purchasing history.

Mr Ayling concluded: “In today’s marketplace, the time it takes customers to find the right product and purchase is critical. We have worked hard to make the whole process as easy and quick as possible.”

Bunting’s European manufacturing facilities are in Redditch, just outside Birmingham, and Berkhamsted, both in the UK.
