Metal Show & Tib 2022, the leading exhibition in Romania for metalworking, industrial technology, and equipment, will take place from 11-14 May. Following a three-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, industry leaders and professionals will meet over four days in Hall B2 at Romexpo Bucharest, to discuss applied products, technologies, innovations, and effective solutions to long-term business partnerships. The event is organised by Euro Expo Fairs and Romexpo.
Over 130 international companies from 11 countries (Bulgaria, China, Germany, India, Italy, UK, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, and Slovakia) will be exhibiting their ‘state of the art’ equipment, products and services that cover a wide range of sectors including: processing of sheets, pipes, and welding; chipping processing; debiting; tools; robots, automation, measurement, and control; software solutions; car industry; lubricants; surfaces processing; raw materials, materials, and semi-finished products; ventilation and filtration; electrical engineering; energy; pneumatics and hydraulics; industrial suppliers and research and development.
Among the innovative highlights on display will be Aberlink’s Extol, the first coordinate measuring machine in the world to use a delta mechanism,; a Leykom 3-D printer with metal powder, unique in the world of 3-D metal printing due to its wide range of applications and the ability to print 100% dense metal parts; a Markforged Metal X 3-D printer, which produces everything from spare parts for industrial machines or tools to functional prototypes; and Punch Tap, a completely new method of threading through a plunging and deformation process — which reduces the threading time by around 75% compared to the conventional method of thread deformation and at the same time substantially reduces energy consumption.
Also on display will be laser systems, scanning probes, temperature sensors, bore and roughness gauges from Blum Digilog; Bystronic’s BySmart Fiber laser cutting machine and an Xpert 40 sheet-metal bending press; an HSG 3015X fibre laser, which is a completely closed machine, with interchangeable tables for cutting sheets up to 3,000 x 1,500mm; and the new fully digitised Focus Arc welding technique (compared to the conventional welding processes known until now, Focus technology concentrates the energy in the electric arc’s centre).
