Metrology Open Day, hosted in collaboration with the
University of Wolverhampton Racing (UWR) team. Taking place on 5 March at the University of Wolverhampton’s Telford Campus, the event will consist of a full day of hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and exclusive previews of the latest connected metrology solutions.
The event will offer visitors a unique opportunity to experience the latest advancements in precision measurement technology, network with industry experts, and get an inside look at the university’s ‘state of the art’ engineering facility.

Official launchVisitors can look forward to a packed agenda filled with exciting activities and opportunities. Bowers Group will also officially launch its new Figura contour and roundness measurement machines t the event, which deliver fast, accurate surface and dimensional analysis. With live demonstrations of connected metrology solutions, showcasing real-time data transfer and precision measurement capabilities, guests can also explore the newly upgraded mobile metrology showroom, featuring the latest tools and technologies.
There will also be the opportunity to network with Bowers Group experts and the UWR racing team, gaining insights into their impressive projects, taking a behind-the-scenes tour of the engineering department and UWR workshop, where students and staff prepare for competitive motorsport events. But it isn’t all work and no play, with the change to get competitive on the racing simulator and exciting prizes wil be up for grabs.
