Laser Lines Ltd, a leading UK reseller of 3-D printers and materials, is collaborating with US-based
PostProcess Technologies to hold an additive manufacturing (AM) day at the
Digital Manufacturing Centre (DMC) in Silverstone in June.
The event, for engineers, designers, and manufacturers, will showcase the latest in industrial 3-D printing and post-processing technologies for high-end automotive applications. It will show how the production process can be a more streamlined workflow with exceptional accuracy and detail - ideal for high-performance parts, offering a faster turnround with reduced lead times and increased efficiency.
For industry leaders in high-performance sectors such as automotive and Formula 1, precision is everything. With the Stratasys Neo800+ and Origin Two, combined with cutting-edge post-processing systems from PostProcess Technologies, Laser Lines is showcasing what is possible in prototyping with a focus on delivering production-level quality at unmatched speed and precision.
Post-processing solutionsSeveral speakers will feature including Ken Whild, UK lead at PostProcess Technologies, and Jonathan Heritage, senior applications engineer at Stratasys. The event is free to attend and is taking place on 19 June 2025, 10 am-2 pm.
After a welcome coffee and live 3-D printing demonstration, visitors will see presentations on 3-D printing workflows including post-processing solutions, enjoy a facility tour and witness demonstration of PostProcess Technology’s DEMI 4100 and DEMI X 520 systems. This will be followed by complementary lunch and networking.
Mark Tyrtania, sales director at Laser Lines, said: “This is more than a showcase — it is a hands-on experience of how AM can dramatically improve and speed up the production process. We are excited to demonstrate how the different technologies available with supportive expertise can help UK manufacturers stay ahead of the curve.”
