IMHX 2025, the UK’s premier event for logistics and supply chain professionals, is set to return to the NEC Birmingham from 9–11 September and
B&B Attachments (Stand E10) is gearing up to showcase the very latest in forklift attachment innovation.
Mike Barton, managing director at B&B Attachments, said: “Preparations are nearly complete, and this year, visitors to our stand will see the most advanced handling solutions from B&B, alongside cutting-edge developments from our partner
KAUP.”
A standout product this year is the Open Centre LayerMaster, specifically engineered for the produce, retail and distribution sectors. This versatile attachment not only maintains the exceptional layer picking and depalletising performance of the original LayerMaster, but also supports full pallet swaps, pallet rebuilding, and mixed-load construction, providing unmatched flexibility for dynamic warehouse operations.
Also turning heads will be the KAUP Smart Load Control (SLC) system, an autonomous, patented technology that intelligently regulates clamping force without interfering with forklift hydraulics. Mr Barton said: “SLC is a game-changer. It eliminates product damage by adjusting clamp pressure automatically based on load requirements, with no driver interaction required.”
Powerful combinationNew for 2025, B&B will feature the KAUP T266C Fork Positioner integrated with Vetter SmartFork, together they are a powerful combination for precision handling. The T266C offers excellent visibility, durability, and fast fork positioning. When paired with SmartFork, it delivers a safer and more-efficient operation. Mr Barton added: “This pairing enhances accuracy, reduces risk, and empowers operators with feedback in real time.”
Also on display will be the robust K320 BlockMaster attachment, purpose-built for the concrete and construction industry. Designed to handle dense and heavy block products with precision and care, the BlockMaster ensures damage-free clamping and consistent load stability, even in the most demanding environments. Mr Barton explained: “It is engineered for performance and durability, ideal for block manufacturers and builders’ merchants looking to optimise throughput without compromising product quality.”
Meanwhile, the ever-popular Push-Pull attachment will also be showcased. Ideal for operations using slip sheets instead of pallets, this attachment is designed to handle pallet-less materials efficiently. It is perfect for industries handling beverages, bagged goods, fruit, and corrugated packaging. Mr Barton continued: “It is a proven performer that delivers both cost efficiency and reliability.”
Visitors to stand can also explore tailored handling solutions for paper rolls, kegs and casks, and palletised loads.
