Brookhouse completes acquisition of Parker PrecisionLancashire-based aerospace engineering company Brookhouse Aerospace has acquired Parker Precision, a firm specialising in precision engineering across multiple sectors from its facility in Wolverhampton. The move follows Brookhouse Aerospace’s recent investment in a new manufacturing facility in Darwen and the installation of significant new machining capabilities.

Kenny Worth, executive chairman of Brookhouse Aerospace, said: “Following our recent investment in a ‘state of the art’ manufacturing facility in Darwen, and the installation of significant new machining capabilities, the acquisition of Parker Precision is just the next step in our mission to build a leading mid-market company servicing aerospace and defence industries. The expanded organisation will allow Brookhouse Aerospace to offer its customers a much broader product and service offering and will add considerable value as we look to grow even further. In this regard we continue to evaluate, and are actively seeking, suitable additional opportunities.”

Brookhouse Aerospace, owned by Nord Aerospace Holdings, provides aero-structure solutions for the civil and defence sectors. In 2024, the company expanded with a new 41,000ft2 machining facility and head office. Over recent months, the business, which employs 210 people at its Darwen campus, has invested more than £500,000 in machinery to extend its capabilities, opened up internal capacity to meet increased market demand, and secured funding as part of a consortium for an innovative manufacturing solution.

Strategic fit

Matthew Rossiter, CEO of Brookhouse Aerospace, said: “We are delighted to welcome Parker Precision into the Brookhouse Aerospace group. This acquisition is an excellent strategic fit, enhancing our capabilities with precision CNC turning, CNC milling, and five-axis grinding – building on our strategy of providing a complete supply chain solution.

“Parker Precision not only brings a well-established business and highly skilled workforce but also opens access to new customers and strengthens the value we provide to our existing customers. Combined with our recent investments in five-axis machining at Darwen, this acquisition positions the group to deliver even greater innovation, flexibility, and added value. Exciting times lie ahead as we continue to grow and evolve together, and elevate excellence for aero-structure solutions.”

Parker Precision, which employs 35 people, will continue to operate from its Wolverhampton base as part of the Brookhouse Aerospace Group, delivering high-quality, innovative and sustainable solutions for its customers while contributing to the overall growth of the organisation.

Marc Corns, managing director of Parker Precision, said: “The successful completion of this acquisition provides future certainty for our team. As part of Brookhouse Aerospace, we look forward to the opportunity to further enhance our capabilities and capacity, to deliver customer requirements, advance expertise in key markets and grow the business.”
