Kanematsu expands MOCVD equipment sales in Europe

Kanematsu GmbH has announced further expansion of its role as a sales partner for MOCVD (Metal‑Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition) equipment in the European market, marking another step in the company’s strategy to support advanced semiconductor research and development across the region. The business has confirmed recent deliveries of new MOCVD systems to Lund University in Sweden and the Institute of High Pressure Physics (UniPress) in Poland, where the equipment will be used to drive progress in next‑generation semiconductor technologies.

Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation of Tokyo, are well regarded for their reliability and precision in compound semiconductor fabrication. Through its collaboration with Taiyo Nippon Sanso, Kanematsu is aiming to accelerate innovation in fields such as optoelectronics, power devices and future communication technologies, with a focus on supporting both academic research and commercial development.
The initiative aligns with the Kanematsu Group’s medium‑term vision to “promote investment in business fields with the themes of the environment, society, and safety to achieve the SDGs”. By supplying equipment that enables high‑performance, energy‑efficient semiconductor materials, the company says it is contributing to the advancement of sustainable technological solutions. Kanematsu intends to continue strengthening its partnership with Taiyo Nippon Sanso, supporting global research institutions and industry partners as they work to push the boundaries of semiconductor performance and capability.
