Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW) marked
National Apprenticeship Week last week by showcasing the achievements of its apprentices and underlining the role work‑based training plays in developing skilled talent for industry. The college continues to place apprenticeships at the centre of its technical training provision, working closely with employers to deliver the practical skills and real‑world experience demanded across a range of sectors.
Mo Horan, vice principal apprenticeships, partnerships and skills at HoW College, said: “Apprenticeships give individuals the chance to learn on the job, develop valuable skills, and gain real-world experience that sets them up for long-term success. At HoW College, we are proud to partner with employers to support our apprentices as they grow in confidence and expertise.”
He continued: “
National Apprenticeship Week is the perfect time to celebrate their achievements and highlight how apprenticeships open doors to rewarding careers while strengthening the local workforce.”
As
National Apprenticeship Week continues, HoW College is using the occasion to recognise the achievements of its apprentices and the commitment of employers and mentors who help shape the region’s future workforce.
