Tezmaksan, the CNC automation systems manufacturer, has achieved ISO/IEC 17025 calibration laboratory accreditation at its Sivas facility in Anatolia, Turkey. Awarded by the National Accreditation Centre (NAC), the accreditation reflects the company’s commitment to precision engineering, measurement reliability and compliance with international quality standards across its calibration processes.
ISO/IEC 17025 is the globally recognised benchmark for the technical competence of calibration and testing laboratories. It sets detailed requirements covering laboratory management, calibration methodology, equipment performance and personnel qualifications, ensuring that measurements are accurate, repeatable and traceable. With the accreditation now in place, Tezmaksan’s Sivas laboratory is authorised to provide accredited calibration services to domestic and regional industries, helping customers meet regulatory and operational demands.
Achieving this standard confirms that the company’s processes meet stringent international expectations, strengthening confidence in the precision of its CNC automation systems. The accreditation is particularly significant for high‑precision sectors, where minor deviations in measurement can affect product performance, operational efficiency and global competitiveness.
Tezmaksan’s CEO Hakan Aydoğdu said: “Our ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation demonstrates that our laboratory meets the highest international standards, reflecting our commitment to precision and quality for customers worldwide. We continue to create value for the industry through continuous innovation in precision machining and automation technologies, a robust and integrated engineering infrastructure and processes that comply with and advance global standards.”
Future growthThe Sivas facility has become central to Tezmaksan’s expansion strategy since its opening in 2024. Designed as a fully integrated production hub covering 10,000m
2, the site accommodates current operations while allowing for substantial future growth. In 2026, the company plans to relocate its entire production line from Istanbul to Sivas to increase manufacturing capacity and take advantage of the region’s ‘incentive zone’ status. To date, 15 million euros have been invested in the facility, with a further 20 million euros allocated for continued development.
Alongside investment in the site, Tezmaksan has also expanded its own fleet of CNC machine tools, integrating them with automation systems to create a fully optimised and complementary production environment. While Sivas becomes the centre of manufacturing, Istanbul will continue to operate as the company’s dedicated R&D and design base, supporting product innovation and long‑term engineering development.
Mr Aydoğdu said: “Our production base in Sivas will not only drive technological innovation but also strengthen Anatolia’s industrial and economic potential. This strategic move allows us to increase production capacity, enhance competitiveness in the global market and expand our footprint to 40 countries, while our Istanbul centre remains focused on R&D and design operations.”
With ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation now established, the Sivas laboratory will play a key role in supporting Tezmaksan’s ambitions to deliver precision, reliability and quality at an international level. The company’s expansion plans underline its intention to improve productivity, build its European and global presence and contribute to regional employment and economic development.
