Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has launched PC-DMIS FUSION, a new reporting and analytics platform designed to give manufacturers real-time access to metrology data and support faster, data-driven decision making.
Announced on 6 May 2026 by Hexagon’s Stationary Metrology Division, PC-DMIS FUSION delivers real-time information, visualisation, insights and statistical process control for users of the company’s PC-DMIS software, with the aim of improving productivity and part quality.

PC-DMIS FUSION modernises analytics and reporting with a simple, intuitive interface, interactive reporting, and fast access to historical data,” said Greg Holdsworth, senior portfolio manager at Hexagon. “Seamlessly integrated with PC-DMIS, it delivers real-time measurement information, visualisation, and SPC analysis, all to increase productivity and support data-driven decisions.”
Integrated directly with PC-DMIS, FUSION presents measurement data captured from a wide range of metrology devices, enabling manufacturers to unify shopfloor data and support fully automated quality workflows. The software is designed to streamline data collection, reporting and analysis, allowing teams to move from reactive inspection towards predictive quality management.
Users can automate repetitive tasks, monitor part quality continuously and receive immediate alarms when deviations occur, helping to reduce response times and prevent quality issues from escalating, while keeping existing workflows simple and intuitive.
PC-DMIS FUSION can also be paired with MAESTRO, Hexagon’s digitally native, fully connected CMM and IIoT device. In this configuration, MAESTRO streams precise measurement data in real time, while FUSION interprets trends and automates SPC and reporting to provide continuous quality insight.
Hexagon says the combination supports virtual metrology and model-based manufacturing by linking inspection results to 3-D models and identifying potential issues as they occur. The connected system is intended to deliver improved connectivity, greater automation and faster, more informed decision making on the shopfloor.
