Hamilton Medical, a long-term user of PTC’s Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution, made the switch to secure enhanced collaboration among engineering, risk management, quality, and verification and validation teams.
The solution facilitates automated traceability and audit preparedness across product development and supports compliance with rigorous industry standards.
Together, Codebeamer and Windchill establish a unified product data foundation, linking requirements, testing, and release decisions for end-to-end traceability and visibility.
The multi-year agreement enables both parties to work on the development of standardised PTC medical technology software capabilities and the advancement of Codebeamer and Windchill integration.
Hamilton Medical will contribute its deep expertise in critical medical device development processes, methodologies, and tool usage.
These insights will support PTC’s development of market-specific standards and its out-of-the-box ALM and PLM solutions to facilitate seamless end-to-end product development in alignment with the customer’s Integrated Product Engineering (IPE) goals.
