Sumitomo commits to education & training

#MACH2014 Cutting-tool specialist Sumitomo Electric Hardmetal Ltd (www.sumitomo-hardmetal.co.uk) has committed to supporting and co-sponsoring the Education and Training Zone at MACH.

General manager Trevor Tolley says: “Each of our technical staff has either studied at university or served an engineering apprenticeship, which we regard as fundamental steps for core competence and understanding of the basics of the industry.

“Our engineers then apply and utilise technology to build a fascinating professional career, and we are keen to help provide the ideal shop window for young people to gain an appreciation of what can be achieved.”
