600 UK introduces Gripfast combination chuck

#MACH2014 600 UK company Pratt Burnerd International (www.600uk.com) introduced its new Gripfast combination power chuck. This provides CNC lathe users with a chuck, collet chuck and mandrel chuck — all combined in a single unit. It also incorporates a counter-balance feature that negates the effects of centrifugal forces, ensuring constant gripping force and 90% jaw force at the maximum operational speed of 6,000rev/min.
