RK International returns to MACH

#MACH2014 Erith-based RK International Machine Tools Ltd (www.rk-int.com) returned to MACH after an absence of almost 30 years; and it proved to be a sound business decision, with the company reporting sales and lots of high-level enquiries as a result of its presence on three stands at the exhibition.

Sales manager Simon Rood said: “While we took firm orders for a number of machines at MACH, what was just as encouraging was how the ranges of Robbi and Delta grinding machines were received. The number of enquiries that we took for these machines was very high, with interest being shown in both the conventional and CNC variants.”

Aside from the main RK International Machine Tools stand, the company also gave a UK exhibition debut to the Europa Milltech with Heidenhain TNC320, which was displayed in the Education and Training Zone. This machine proved to be an instant hit with visitors from education and machine shop environments. RK International was also represented on the 600 Group stand, where the Colchester and Harrison lathe ranges continued to be a popular draw with show visitors.
