Leicestershire based Matsuura Machinery Ltd is set to unveil the new MAM72-52V, a high-speed, large-capacity five-axis vertical machining centre at a series of exclusive ticket-only events at the company’s showroom in Coalville during September.

Taking place on 7-9 and 14-16 September, visitors will be able to see this new addition to the MAM72 range for the first time in the UK and to keep the event safe and secure, there are only a limited number of tickets per session, which will run at various time slots throughout the day.

Matsuura will also be demonstrating a recent addition to its range of lathes — the Muratec MD-60. Meanwhile, in the Additive Manufacturing Centre, visitors will also be able to see the entire range of HP Multi-Jet Fusion 3-D printers and DyeMansion 3-D finishing systems

Designed from the ground up and based on over 30 years of multi-pallet automation innovation and excellence, the Matsuura MAM72-52V is a ‘factory in one machine’ that enables variable-part/variable-volume production and extended unmanned operation. Equipped with 130 tools on a 330-tool magazine base, proven tower pallet system (PC15) for extended lights out manufacturing and chip removal system as standard.

This high-speed, large-capacity vertical machining centre delivers Matsuura’s five-axis performance and sits in a unique capacity position within the MAM72 product range, bridging the gap between MAM72-35V and MAM72-70V.

In terms of capacity, the MAM72-52V is a ‘next investment step’ machine for existing MX-520 customers looking to increase their lights-out operation, and MAM72-35V customers who require a larger machining envelope.

The MAM72-52V is designed to offer end users faster response times to market and deliver high productivity to meet customers’ growing business requirements for ever-faster cycle times, proven unmanned running and dynamic cost-down performance.
