‘It's a kind of magic’ for Starrag at MACH 2024In the aftermath of the recent MACH exhibition, global company Starrag is reflecting upon an incredibly successful event with an unprecedented level of enquiries. The results were not only a reflection of the prestige of the world-leading brand, but also the debut of a number of new technologies in the UK.

The Starrag stand had everything from new machine technologies, to virtual showroom platforms and the new global market position. The ‘meet and greet’ booth even entertained the crowds with a magician performing on the stand. The show proved such a resounding success that Starrag has already signed up for MACH 2026.

Lee Scott, Starrag UK’s director of sales and applications, said: “MACH was a very buoyant show with an extremely positive vibe and it was a great platform for us to introduce our new technologies. The show was a fantastic opportunity to meet existing customers and generate a huge number of enquiries from new businesses. Our enquiries ranged from micro-machining solutions with micron precision to manufacturers looking for machines with a bed size in the realms of 20m — and lots of enquiries in between.

“The interest arrived from manufacturers in the luxury goods, jewellery, aerospace, automotive and sub-contracting industries and in the aftermath of MACH, we have already been asked to sign NDAs and quote on some pretty significant projects. It is this level of interest that has immediately persuaded us to sign up for MACH 2026.”

The diversity of interest was credit to Starrag showcasing its latest innovations from across the company’s diverse portfolio of high-performance solution-driven machine tools. This ranged from the Bumotec product turn/mill range to the new Heckert H Compact Series of twin-pallet horizontal machining centres, the impressive new STC1250 HD horizontal machining centre and the SIP range of ultra-precise vertical and horizontal machines and the SIP jig boring solutions.
