BJD Crushers, a designer and manufacturer of crushing and size reduction equipment for over 125 years, will be exhibiting its latest innovations at
EXPO Katowice 2024, taking place 4-6 September 2024 in Poland.
This will be the first time that BJD Crushers, which was acquired by
Group Rhodes in 2023, has exhibited at the show. The company will also unveil its new logo (pictured below) to its international customers at the exhibition.
Martin Nairn, who was appointed earlier in the year as business development manager for BJD Crushers, will be heading up a team of experts at the show who will be demonstrating 3-D scaled models of the company’s innovative crushing and size reduction equipment which are produced in-house.
EXPO Katowice is the world’s third largest heavy industry trade exhibition. The biggest in Europe, the trade fair is attended by manufacturers of equipment and 4.0 technologies used in heavy industry, including recycling, construction and the mining industry.
Mr Nairn, business development manager at Group Rhodes, which is celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2024, said: “BJD has been operating in Poland for many years and has a strong reputation for quality and service. The aim is to expand our operations even further into Poland and Eastern Europe by exhibiting at
EXPO Katowice and networking with prospective new customers in the recycling, quarrying, mining, and related industries.”
BJD recently completed a contract to supply crushing equipment to one of Poland’s largest copper mines, which took eight months from the initial order to shipment. The company’s experience in the design and manufacture of crushing and size reduction equipment covers a wide variety of applications and its products can be found operating in many different environments around the world. The company’s machinery is recognised for high throughput, rugged build and low operating costs.
Parent company Group Rhodes manufactures and markets its ‘state of the art’ machinery across several industrial sectors, selling into both UK and global markets. The company has extensive capabilities in the design, development and manufacture of bespoke equipment and providing turnkey solutions.
