Grob to mark 100 years with in-house exhibitionGrob-Werke will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a major in-house exhibition at its Mindelheim headquarters from 17 to 20 March, 2026. The event will combine a retrospective of the company’s century-long history with a showcase of the latest innovations in universal machines, automation, and digitalisation. Visitors can expect product premieres, guided tours of ‘state of the art’ production halls, and an exhibition area that brings Grob’s development to life.

The exhibition will feature more than 40 machines in live operation, ranging from universal machining centres to solutions for machining technology, electromobility, and additive manufacturing (AM). Four dedicated zones will focus on growth markets including semiconductor, aerospace and defence, energy technology, and die and mould. Over 70 guided tours will take visitors through 14 production halls, offering insight into the Bavarian manufacturer’s vertical range of manufacture and process expertise.

More than 60 exhibitors from tool technology, clamping devices, CAD/CAM, and digital simulation will complement Grob’s programme. Specialist areas such as Grob Service, customer training at the Grob Technical Academy, and the new quality-checked used machine centre will round off the event, creating a platform for exchange and innovation.

A highlight of the exhibition will be the historical area ‘#100GROB’, where visitors can trace the company’s journey from a small machine tool manufacturer to a global system provider, complete with original exhibits and documentation from its 100-year history.

New product launches

Three major product launches will take place during the event. The GP1350 five-axis portal milling machining centre offers new possibilities for machining large workpieces, with high rigidity and a large work area making it particularly attractive for die and mould, energy technology, and aviation sectors. The GRC-M60 robot cell expands Grob’s modular automation portfolio, offering flexibility and easy integration into existing manufacturing systems. Meanwhile, the newly developed MES/MOM system ‘GROB COSERA’ digitally controls and records the entire flow of parts on the shopfloor, significantly improving transparency, efficiency, and process reliability.

Grob’s CSO Christian Müller said: “Our in-house exhibition connects our past with the future of manufacturing — showcasing Grob’s more than 100 years of expertise. We present solutions that are technologically advanced and at the same time deliver real benefits for our customers — from increased efficiency and process reliability to complete traceability.”

The event underscores Grob’s strategic vision for sustainable, efficient, and highly precise production technology. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience innovations first-hand and discover the production of tomorrow today. Registration is now open
