Total tube technology and more on display at MACH 2026Unison 80mm Breeze all-electric CNC tube-bender

Unison Ltd, the UK developer of ultra‑precise all‑electric tube bending technology, is preparing for a major presence at MACH 2026, taking place 20-24 April at the NEC, Birmingham where it will showcase its most powerful all‑electric tube-bending machine ever taken to the exhibition (Hall 20, Stand 550).

The centrepiece will be an 80mm tube-bender from the company’s British‑built Breeze range, widely regarded as one of the most advanced all‑electric tube-bending systems in use across automotive, aerospace, sub-contract and general fabrication sectors. The 80mm model, available in both single and multi‑stack configurations, will be exhibited alongside a 50mm Breeze machine, a popular choice among sub-contractors and manufacturers of furniture, transport components and hand-railing systems.

Unison’s stand will also feature a selection of technology from across its wider group of companies. These include the manually operated and CNC‑controlled EvBend 1000 precision tube bending machine, a Pneuform 3D rotary head wire bending machine, and a Nukon Cross Series flat‑bed fibre laser cutting machine supplied by Unison’s sister company, Nukon Lasers UK. Demonstrations of Unison’s Opt2Sim Scan tube‑measurement system will take place throughout the show.

The 80 and 50mm Breeze models remain at the heart of Unison’s all‑electric range. Both machines offer rapid setup, fast tooling changes and high repeatability, supported by rigid mechanical construction and fully electric control. Unison describes these characteristics as essential for high‑precision bending, small‑batch work and demanding subcontract applications where first‑time accuracy is paramount.

Unison’s EvBend models, designed for low‑volume prototyping and precision production, will also be on display e at MACH. Used extensively in aerospace, MRO, Formula One and the oil and gas sector, the machines offer three‑axis mandrel and multi‑plane bending at a significantly lower cost than fully automated systems. The EvBend 1000 handles tube up to 16mm (22mm in copper), while the larger EvBend 2000 is designed for tube up to 50mm and features servo‑assisted bending. Both models use a 15in touchscreen with a CNC capable of storing unlimited parts, handling up to 100 bends per component and linking to CAD systems and tube-measurement equipment

Pneuform wire and small‑diameter tube-bending machines will also be displayed. Regarded as a benchmark by manufacturers in the beverage‑cooling, HVAC and automotive sectors, the range includes 3-D rotary head machines that can bend steel wire from 3 to 16mm and tube up to 20mm. All models use Yaskawa drives and Unison‑developed software and are available with optional heading machines and press stations for secondary operations.

Unison will also demonstrate its Opt2Sim Scan handheld measurement system. Working in conjunction with a Creaform 3D scanner, Opt2Sim Scan captures tube geometry quickly and allows operators to compare scanned dimensions with master data. Corrections can then be passed directly to the bending machine. The system provides a large volume of scan points without compromising speed and ensures highly accurate, consistent results.

The latest fibre‑laser technology from Nukon Lasers UK will also feature on the stand. The newly re‑engineered Nukon Cross Series has been designed to improve productivity in 2-D flat‑sheet cutting applications. Bed sizes from 3 x 1.5m to 6 x 2m are available, with power options ranging from 2 to 30kW, allowing the machines to handle a wide variety of cutting tasks.

Alan Pickering, Unison Ltd’s joint managing director, concluded: “Without a shadow of doubt, MACH is the most important event on our UK exhibition calendar. Not only does it provide us with an incredible opportunity to showcase our latest innovations from the wider Unison family — machine tools, simulation tools and software to make manufacturing faster, better and more cost-effective — but it also provides the perfect venue to catch up with customers old and new.”
