PTC unveils innovation wave for UK manufacturers PTC has launched a significant wave of product innovations aimed at helping manufacturers across the UK accelerate product development, improve data access and extract greater value from digital transformation initiatives.

Unveiled at the recent PTC NEXT Chicago event, the latest developments span the company’s entire portfolio and include two new cross-portfolio solutions, a new AI platform, 12 AI agents, 10 integrations, and major upgrades to existing products. The move marks a further step in advancing PTC’s Intelligent Product Lifecycle strategy.

The announcement comes at a time when many manufacturers continue to struggle with fragmented product data spread across multiple systems. This lack of integration can slow time-to-market, increase costs and complexity, and make regulatory compliance more difficult.

“In a constantly changing world, manufacturers and product companies that win are the ones who move the fastest without sacrificing cost, traceability, and meeting regulations,” said Neil Barua, CEO of PTC. “Every innovation we launched at PTC NEXT has been designed to help our customers move faster, improve access to product data, and accelerate their transformations with the Intelligent Product Lifecycle.”

Among the headline introductions is PTC Orbit, an AI-first, cloud-native solution that connects data from systems such as PLM, ERP, CRM and IoT into a single unified asset record. By applying artificial intelligence, Orbit is designed to maintain data quality and make insights accessible across the enterprise.

Complementing this is Jetstream, a new collaboration-focused platform that addresses long-standing challenges around sharing and reviewing product data. The cloud-native solution enables internal and external teams to collaborate more effectively, while ensuring traceable feedback and maintaining integration with PLM, ALM and CAD systems.

PTC also previewed a new AI platform, alongside embedded AI agents and assistants, aimed at extending the value of product data across organisations. According to the company, these capabilities will help manufacturers unlock more intelligent workflows and decision-making processes.

“Our new PTC NEXT On-Demand Experience Hub is now live, offering customers, partners, and our network an always-on place for news about our latest product innovations,” added Mr Barua.

Further enhancements were rolled out across PTC’s established solutions. Creo CAD now features expanded AI-assisted engineering tools and improved support for model-based definition and simulation-driven optimisation. Onshape has been upgraded with advanced AI-assisted design feedback and improved collaboration for mechanical and electrical development.

Elsewhere, Arena PLM and QMS capabilities have been strengthened with enhanced AI-driven search and analytics tools, while ServiceMax introduces new AI-enabled scheduling, workflow optimisation and parts management features to improve service efficiency.

PTC says these latest releases reinforce its commitment to supporting manufacturers as they push for greater agility, smarter products and more connected operations.

London-based PTC is a software company that enables manufacturers and product companies to digitally transform how they design, manufacture, and service the physical products the world relies on. It employs over 7,000 people and supports more than 30,000 customers globally.
