Tungaloy Corporation has released its 2026 Environmental & Sustainability Report, detailing the company’s environmental performance during 2025 and outlining progress towards its long-term sustainability objectives.
The report reflects the Japanese cutting tool specialist’s ongoing commitment to its ‘Think Green’ philosophy, under which environmental responsibility is integrated throughout product development, manufacturing operations and the machining solutions supplied to customers around the world.
According to the company, engineering innovation continues to play a central role in reducing emissions, improving resource efficiency and supporting more sustainable manufacturing practices across the value chain.
Tungaloy says the report is built around three key strategic pillars that guide its sustainability activities. These include Climate & Energy, which focuses on lowering emissions through the adoption of renewable energy sources, energy optimisation measures and operational improvements.
The second pillar, Material & Product Efficiency, centres on the development of machining solutions designed to boost productivity while reducing energy consumption, carbide use and material waste.
The third pillar, Safe & Responsible Operations, highlights the company’s efforts to promote responsible manufacturing through environmental management initiatives, employee engagement programmes and community activities.
