
The Anatolian production hub of Konya in Turkey is preparing to host its largest machinery exhibition of the year, the third edition of
MAKTEK Konya, a leading exhibition for the machinery manufacturing sector. The event is actively engaged in preparations to unite the industry under one roof and will showcase the latest technologies from leading brands.
Scheduled to take place from 8-11 October, 2025, the exhibition will be held at the Konya Chamber of Commerce – Tüyap Konya International Fair Center. It is being organised by the Tüyap Fair Organization Group in collaboration with the ‘Machine Tools Industrialists and Business People Association (TIAD)’ and the ‘Machine Manufacturers Association (MIB)’.
This exhibition will cover a sizeable area of 45,000m
2, allocated across four halls. It is anticipated to attract over 20,000 participants, both local and international, reinforcing Konya’s position as ‘the epicenter of technology’ in the region. Notably, this year will feature the participation of ‘InnoPark Konya Technology Development Zone’, a key player in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem of Konya.
MAKTEK Konya is poised to serve not only as a focal point for Turkish industry but also as ‘a pivotal assembly point for international trade’. International visitors are expected from many countries including Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Romania, Iraq, Germany, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and France. Bolstered by the robust foreign office network of Tüyap, specialised ‘procurement committee programmes’ will be organised to facilitate direct business interactions and the establishment of new commercial partnerships, ensuring the event evolves into a significant business platform beyond a simple product exhibition.
Comprehensive selection of products>As ‘a dynamic platform for the sector’,
MAKTEK Konya 2025 will showcase a comprehensive selection of products, including a wide range of manufacturing machinery, including CNC machines sheet-metal processing machines and saws, alongside cutting and toolholding, CAD/CAM, and PLM software. The exhibition will also feature welding machines, automation systems, gears, sub-industry equipment, compressed air technologies, and logistics solutions.
New this year will be the ‘Green Transformation Summit’ which will provide an opportunity for industry-leading companies to share insights and perspectives on sustainability and ‘green’ manufacturing practices. Key topics for discussion will include energy efficiency, digitalisation, strategies for reducing carbon footprints, and the principle of a circular economy. A novel dimension to the summit will be the ‘Exhibitors Talking’ sessions, a specialised programme designed to facilitate the exchange of best practices and innovative solutions in ‘green’ transformation, fostering information sharing and paving the way for new collaborative opportunities.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 10am to 7pm on 8-10 October, and from 10am to 6pm on 11 October.
