Mitsubishi Electric launches next-generation GOT3000 HMIMitsubishi Electric has announced the global launch of its GOT3000 human-machine interface (HMI), designed to support the manufacturing sector’s accelerating digital transformation with enhanced connectivity, usability, and system integration.

As manufacturers seek greater efficiency, real-time visibility, and smarter automation, the demands on HMI devices have grown. Mitsubishi Electric has responded by engineering the GOT3000 to act not only as a machine interface but also as a secure gateway between factory equipment and higher-level IT systems. This enables users to unlock new value from production data while maintaining the reliability and ease of use associated with the brand.

The GOT3000 supports international standards for industrial communication, including OPC UA Client and OPC UA Server, allowing seamless integration with higher-level information systems and a wide range of factory automation devices. It features a built-in web browser for equipment configuration and monitoring without a PC, NFC contactless tag reading, USB connectivity, network camera support, and HDMI output for real-time monitoring and system integration. Secure remote access is provided through encrypted communication, data encryption, and built-in VPN capabilities, enabling remote maintenance and predictive monitoring.

The device also serves as a gateway for IT and OT data integration via its built-in OPC UA server. Despite its advanced capabilities, the GOT3000 retains the intuitive screen design environment familiar to existing users, now enhanced for faster interface development and customisation. Compatibility with Mitsubishi Electric’s new MX Controller further improves system integration, reducing engineering overhead and supporting CC-Link IE TSN and legacy systems for broad deployment.

A newly developed high-definition display delivers up to 16 million colours, paired with a capacitive multi-touch touchscreen for precise, responsive control using gestures such as swiping and pinching. Dynamic frame animations provide smoother navigation, while live video display and recording enable real-time process monitoring. In the event of a malfunction, operators can view recorded footage alongside live feeds to quickly identify root causes and restore operations.

Available globally from September 2025, the GOT3000 is aimed at industries including automotive, semiconductor, material handling, and pharmaceuticals. Go Wakamatsu, general manager of the HMI System Department at Mitsubishi Electric, said: “With the GOT3000, we are enabling customers to advance their digital transformation with confidence, combining advanced performance with trusted engineering to drive the next generation of smart production.

“Built on over 12 years of HMI design expertise and informed by feedback from thousands of users, the GOT3000 not only reflects our long legacy of successful HMI developments, but delivers what customers need for smarter, more efficient manufacturing.”
