Mapal has achieved
TISAX Assessment Level 3 certification while renewing key quality accreditations, underlining its compliance with the highest standards in information security and quality management.
The Aalen, Germany-headquartered company completed the TISAX certification in April 2026, meeting stringent requirements for confidentiality and availability, particularly valued in the automotive sector.
During the same period, Mapal also renewed its certifications to VDA 6.4 and DIN EN ISO 9001, confirming the robustness of its quality management systems.
The latest certifications come as manufacturers face growing pressure to demonstrate secure handling of sensitive data and consistent production standards, especially in automotive development and supply chains. Mapal said it has significantly strengthened both technical and organisational safeguards in recent months, building on its existing information security framework.
The company implemented a series of measures to ensure consistent standards across the organisation, including expanding internal structures, clarifying responsibilities and standardising processes. This approach aimed to deliver a transparent and uniformly high level of security for customers and partners.
Achieving TISAX Assessment Level 3 represents a significant milestone, positioning Mapal to meet critical requirements from automotive customers and providing a stronger platform for existing and future collaborations. The certification is widely recognised across the automotive industry as a benchmark for secure information handling.
Alongside the TISAX accreditation, Mapal completed successful surveillance audits of its quality management system across multiple sites as part of its matrix certification. External auditors reviewed processes against VDA 6.4 and ISO 9001 standards during April 2026, confirming both compliance and effectiveness.
The audits also highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, with departments across the group demonstrating adherence to high quality standards and a focus on operational excellence.
Alexander Koschewski, executive vice president strategy and business development at Mapal, said the results reflect sustained company-wide effort.
“The successful audits confirm the consistent efforts of our teams and our commitment to the highest standards in information security, quality management, and customer-oriented processes. This further strengthens our position as a high-performance partner for our customers.”
The certifications reinforce Mapal’s role as a supplier to industries where precision, traceability and data security are critical. With automotive manufacturers increasingly requiring rigorous compliance from their supply chains, the company believes its strengthened credentials will support long-term growth and competitiveness.
By aligning its systems with globally recognised standards and investing in continuous improvement, Mapal is seeking to ensure it remains well positioned to meet evolving customer expectations while supporting secure and efficient production environments across its international operations.
