LMT Tools has moved to safeguard continuity of supply for customers of the insolvent
Adam Rollsysteme GmbH, a specialist thread rolling and rolling systems technology supplier for the metalworking industry.
In May, the German precision tooling manufacturer began providing support to Adam Rollsysteme customers following the Güster-based company's insolvency. LMT Tools stressed that the arrangement does not constitute an acquisition of Adam Rollsysteme, but instead ensures customers continue to have access to essential rolling system products and technical support.
Under the agreement, LMT will supply components, roll heads and thread rolls from its own product portfolio, while also providing access to the wider LMT Tools service network. Customers will benefit from the group's international presence, regional sales teams and on-site technical assistance.
Stefan Möller, head of the rolling systems product line at LMT Tools, said maintaining reliable supply was a key priority throughout the process.
He said: “Even during difficult economic times, ensuring a secure supply for our customers was particularly important to us. That is why we provided quick and straightforward assistance even during Adam Rollsysteme's preliminary insolvency proceedings.”
He added: "By acting swiftly, we were able to help ensure business continuity and reliably meet customer needs. We will continue to support our customers in the future with our service portfolio and technical expertise."
The move strengthens LMT Fette's position in the rolling systems market while providing affected manufacturers with continued access to tooling solutions and engineering support. Customers will also have direct contact with local representatives and application specialists capable of providing assistance at machine level.
The announcement follows what LMT Fette describes as a successful integration of assets and expertise from PWS Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH, completed during the past year. The company incorporated selected elements of the Schmölln-based gear cutting specialist into its operations, expanding the capabilities of the LMT Fette business.
According to LMT Tools, the integration involved the transfer of machinery, equipment and experienced personnel, significantly increasing reconditioning capacity at its Schwarzenbek facility. The company said the move had broadened its product and service offering while preserving valuable industrial expertise.
Customers have subsequently benefited from a wider range of solutions, enhanced technical knowledge and improved support through regional sales teams and application engineering specialists, the company said.

Raphael Lienau, site manager at LMT Tools in Schwarzenbek, said customer performance and profitability remain central to the company's development strategy.

The company will showcase its latest technologies and services at AMB 2026, taking place in Stuttgart from 15-19 September, where it will exhibit in Hall 3, Stand D20.
